Announcement: School Closed Tomorrow - Wednesday, January 8th
Due to the weather and continued issues with roads, parking lots, and sidewalks around our campus, the Hillsboro R-3 School District will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th, for all students and staff.
Students will participate in an Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) day and should follow their teachers’ directions.
Please stay safe, and we will provide updates as needed.

Students will have an Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) day and are encouraged to complete assigned work at home.

Due to the ongoing winter storm, the Hillsboro R-3 School District campus will be CLOSED on Monday, January 6, 2025, for both students and all staff.
Students will have an AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) learning day.

The Student Showcase is a night where Junior High students will display something they created in one of their elective classes.
Every student picked one artifact to show off from 1st semester. The classes that will be showcasing projects include: military appreciation, page to screen, creative writing, theatre, STEM, GTT explo, music explo, career explo, consumer science explo, drawing, painting, printmaking, advanced art, taste of culture, outdoor ed, photography club and 8th grade FACS.
🍩👽Cosmic Donuts will also be there, selling their delicious donuts!

The HHS Science Dept. presents: Family Science Night: Chemistry Crafts - Join the High School Science Department for an evening of family fun creating Chemistry Crafts! At this event you will learn how to tie dye, create glycerin soaps, slime, and a bouncy ball from everyday household chemicals! The cost to attend is $5. You get to take home what you make!
