We are excited to welcome Mr. Andrew Patterson as our new 8th Grade Social Studies teacher! Mr. Patterson holds a Master's in Education and brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role.
Before joining the Junior High, Mr. Patterson taught history at the Alternative School. Prior to that, he spent five years working in the Special Education department at Hillsboro High School, where he partnered closely with the History Department.
Mr. Patterson shared, "I was hired at Hillsboro to fill a Jr. High Special Education position and followed that group of students into the high school. So, I am familiar with the building and most of the staff. I’m excited about returning to the Junior High and the familiar faces."
He lives in De Soto and enjoys spending time with his two kids, son-in-law, and grandson.
