We want our students to enjoy the Library Media Center and to develop a love of reading.

The following guidelines will help your child enjoy the Hillsboro Elementary Library and help your child grow to be a responsible library user.

*Students may check out 2 books and keep them for 2 weeks. They may return books as soon as they finish reading them and make new selections.

*One magazine may be checked out for one day only as long as a book is also checked out. This can only be done at your child's regularly scheduled classroom library time.

*There are no overdue fines but all overdue materials must be returned before check out priveleges resume.

*Students will be held responsible for material they check out. If a book or magazine is lost or damaged a fine may be assessed.

* Per District policy, students must have a signed technology agreement form on file to use the internet.
