Missouri School board members receive no pay. Their reward is the satisfaction they
receive from public service. More than 3,700 Missourians serve on local school boards.

Mrs. Anina Morse was elected to the Board in 1997. She lives in rural Hillsboro with her husband, Dan. She also serves as music director at the Hillsboro Christian Church. She and Dan have 2 children, both graduates of Hillsboro High School.

Mr. Bob Dietrich has served on the Board 1979 through 1983, then again since 1995. He lives in Hillsboro with his wife Sandy. They have four children, two of whom graduated from the R-3 Schools. He has 4 grandchildren who are students in the R-3 District.

Mr. Kevin Roberts has served on the Board since 1995 - he was first appointed, then elected in 96 and 99. He lives northeast of Hillsboro with his wife Debbie and two children. He is an attorney with an office in Hillsboro.

Mr. George Engelbach was elected to the Board in 1997. He lives in the Mapaville area with his wife Janet. They are the parents of three children who graduated from the R-3 Schools. He is a construction worker, farmer and former state representative.

Mr. Bart McKinney was elected to the Board in April, 1999. He lives in Hillsboro with his wife Robyn. He has four children, two of whom attend the R-3 Schools. Bart is a construction disbursing manager in Hillsboro.

Mr. Randy Hargis was elected to the Board in April, 1999. He and his wife Betty live in the Mapaville area. They have 5 children, one of whom is a student in the R-3 schools.

Mr. Dale Thebeau was first elected to the Board in 1986. He lives southwest of Hillsboro with his wife Marilyn. They have four children, including one still attending, and 2 that graduated from the R-3 Schools. Dale is an elementary teacher in suburban St. Louis.
