The Hillsboro R-3 Board of Education meets on the 4th Thursday of each month in the Administration Building. The public is welcome at all Board meetings. If you have something you would like to place before the Board, you must follow the Board approved policy to be placed on the agenda. Board Policy BDDH is: Submit a written request to the Superintendent. Deliver all documentation needed along with nine (9) copies, one for each member plus the superintendent and secretary, no later than five (5) business days (deliver copies to superintendent or board secretary) preceding the meeting during which you wish to address the Board. The R-3 Board of Education begins its open session meetings at exactly 7:00 p.m. Robert's rules of parliamentary procedure are strictly followed. Please deliver all documents to the board secretary Emergency Procedure: Contact the Superintendent as soon as possible. The Superintendent will decide if your request to meet with the Board is an actual emergency and act accordingly. |
